If you follow me on Instagram you will have more than likely seen posts that include these amazing little boots. Freya practically lives in them, even when we aren’t riding or at the yard she still loves to wear them. Which is fine by me because I love them too. So let me tell you a bit more about these lovely little boots and why I love them.

I first discovered Todhpurs via Instagram back in February of this year after Horse & Hound shared a photo of Freya on Conker at her first hunt meet and they ‘liked’ the photo. I was intrigued as to who they were as I hadn’t heard of them before, so did a bit of good old ‘insta-stalking’ and liked what I saw immediately. At the time Freya didn’t actually have a proper pair of riding boots. She just wore her chelsea boots from Marks & Spencer. They did the job for the short-term as she wasn’t riding all that often but I was definitely on the look out for some proper boots for her as she was wanting to ride more so the timing was perfect.

What first drew me to these particular boots in the overall look of them. They are so stylish in my opinion, my mum calls them the mini Ariats! All of the other boots out there for toddlers (that I have seen) pretty much look the same. I loved the fact they had the zip and the stitching details. Freya always gets compliments on her  “grown up” riding boots. You can tell a lot of time and thought has gone into designing and producing these boots specifically made for little wriggling feet. All parents know how hard it is to get shoes onto toddlers feet, let alone riding boots! The zip, pull loop at the back and the stretchy sides make getting these boots on and off a breeze. I have never had a complaint from Freya about them, she now even gets them on and off by herself!

We have had Freya’s first pair of boots since February, so going on 7 months and they still look as good as the day they came out of the box, and they have had A LOT of wear, as you can see from all the photos. The quality of the leather is fantastic and cleans up brilliantly, even after stomping through muddy puddles (thanks Peppa Pig). One of the features that I particularly love about these boots is the sole. It is sturdy, has great grip and good size heel all of which are fab when riding at keeping little feet and place and helping to prevent them slipping through stirrups.

I recently learnt that Todhpurs are running a fantastic scheme where if you send your outgrown Todhpur boots to back them you will receive a 15% discount on your next pair of Todhpur boots. The boots that are sent back to them are then to be used in riding schools for the disabled, which i think is an absolutely brilliant idea.

Todhpurs will be releasing their fantastic boots in brown in a couple of months! I am really looking forward to this, I do love a brown boot, my husband can vouch for that. They are also currently working on two new boot designs which I am equally excited to see.

So, if you are in the market for some riding boots for your little ones feet I can highly recommend Todhpur boots. You can buy the boots by clicking here. If you sign up to their newsletter you can receive 10% off. Boots are available in UK sizes 5-11. They also have a fab instagram account, facebook page and twitter account so you can keep up to date with everything they do.

Below are just a few of the many pictures of Freya wearing her boots.
